Cattail Park is a great place to take the little one’s fishing, to go paddle boarding, or canoeing, or kayaking, or to just “hang out” and watch the birds and wildlife activity. Located just north of Fulton along Cattail Road, (as you may be headed toward the Fulton Country Club), Cattail Park is just around the curve as you go north, on the left side of the road. Cattail Park features a pedestal charcoal grill, a small playground area, a picnic shelter with picnic tables and also the Cattail Park Pavilion which is available to rent. The Pavilion has a kitchen area complete with stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave. There are modern restroom facilities inside the Pavilion, and the main activity area for your event comes equipped with 8, 8′ tables and folding chairs. Cattail Park also has a nice paved parking area located near the Pavilion. The City of Fulton requests no parking on the grass, as the grassy areas are generally too soft for vehicles.
Cattail Park is open to the public, during daylight hours, and, as in all Fulton city parks, alcoholic beverages are not permitted at any time. (There are no restrooms at the Cattail Park except those inside the Pavilion, which are not generally available except during private rental events.)
