Tucked away in the forest and just a short drive from Chicago, the Cabins at Pine Creek sit in a clearing among towering green pines. Our three different family cabins are located adjacent to White Pines State Park and each cabin sleeps from 6 - 12 people. Amenities include gas fireplaces, full kitchens, log lodge furnishings outdoor furnishings, and much more! We are pet friendly.

Some history

Set directly across the street from the well-preserved White Pines Forest State Park, The Cabins at Pine Creek (formally Pine Creek Family Cabins) were built in 2001 by Beth George. After operating the 25 cabins, lodge restaurant, and gift shop in White Pines State Park ** for 12 years, Beth saw an opportunity to accommodate larger families and wedding parties. She is also the creator of the Pine Creek Canyon, formally known as the Wedding Canyon—a venue with hundreds of weddings on its roster over the past 18 years.

Now, we’re carrying on the tradition, offering the same service in a great place to gather. The original White Pines Resort has been a staple of the local area and is part of the National Historic Registry. Right in the middle of 400 acres of forest, the resort has offered a sanctuary for rest and relaxation for nearly a century.

** as of May 13, 2020, White Pines Resort has announced its closure. Pine Creek Cabins, Wedding Canyon, and the Skating Rink are all open.
