Tom Heflin: Feature Walls Exhibition

Celebrate the work of one of northern Illinois' most respected artists during this special month-long exhibition on the Feature Walls at the Coliseum Museum of Art, Antiques & Americana.

A private collection of paintings by Tom Heflin (1934–2023) will be on display throughout August, offering visitors a unique opportunity to view—and purchase—original works by the acclaimed Rockford artist. Whether you're an established collector or simply looking for a meaningful piece of regional art, this is a rare chance to bring home an original Heflin painting.

An award-winning artist, Heflin's work has been exhibited across the United States and internationally. Known for his expressive style and thoughtful compositions, his artistic legacy continues through his paintings and published works. Visitors can also explore Quiet Places and Roots and Wings, two collections of Heflin's paintings and writings, which are part of the Coliseum Museum Reference Library.

The exhibition is included with regular gallery admission and will be on display during normal business hours throughout August.
