🎅 Santa Is Coming to Town — Friday, Dec. 5
Kick off the festivities downtown as Santa lights the Community Christmas Tree at 6 p.m. Local shops will stay open late, offering sweet treats, special deals, and warm holiday hospitality throughout Friday evening and again on Saturday.
🏠Tour of Homes — Dec. 5 & 6
Step inside beautifully decorated homes and historic landmarks dressed in their holiday best! This year’s tour features three private historic homes, plus the Caroline Mark Home and Sawyer House on the Shimer Square campus.
Hours: Friday, 4–7 p.m. | Saturday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Tickets: $5 per person, good for both days
Tickets are available at the Davis Community Center (631 S. East St.) on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
🛍️ Indoor Holiday Market — Saturday, Dec. 6
Wrap up your visit at the Carroll County Senior Center (17612 Benton St.), where over 25 vendors will showcase handcrafted gifts, baked goods, and holiday décor. Carroll County Transit will serve lunch for purchase, making it the perfect stop for shopping and snacking.
