Celebrate one of America’s most iconic roadways during the Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival in Rochelle, Illinois, Aug. 14–16, 2026. This family-friendly summer festival honors the history and legacy of the historic Lincoln Highway while bringing the community together for three days of entertainment, activities, food, and hometown fun.

Festivalgoers can enjoy live music, a parade, carnival rides, food vendors, craft and merchandise vendors, family activities, and community events throughout Rochelle. The festival also highlights Rochelle’s deep connection to the Lincoln Highway, the nation’s first transcontinental highway, which helped shape travel and commerce across northern Illinois and beyond.

Visitors can spend the weekend exploring downtown Rochelle, taking in festival attractions, and celebrating one of the region’s most historic transportation corridors. The weekend wraps up with a fireworks display at dusk on Saturday, Aug. 15.
