June 20 | 10 a.m.–12 p.m. | Clear Creek Prairie Hike
Discover how prescribed fire helps shape and sustain the prairie ecosystem on this 2-mile guided hike through Clear Creek. Along the way, enjoy colorful wildflowers, grassland birds, and other wildlife that thrive in this restored landscape.
June 21 | 1–3 p.m. | Stone Barn Savanna Woodland Walk
Take a leisurely 1-mile walk through Stone Barn Savanna and explore the unique blend of open woodland and prairie. Learn about the conservation efforts that help maintain the health and diversity of this special habitat.
June 27 | 4–6 p.m. | Visitor Center Prairie Stroll
Slow down and enjoy the quieter side of Nachusa on this easy 0.5-mile walk around the Visitor Center loop. This relaxed tour highlights the prairie’s beauty, history, and ongoing restoration.
June 28 | 10 a.m.–12 p.m. | Stone Barn Savanna Scenic Hike
Explore a diverse landscape of sandstone outcroppings, oak woodlands, and wetlands on this scenic 2-mile hike through Stone Barn Savanna. This tour offers a closer look at some of Nachusa Grasslands' most distinctive natural features.
All tours are free to attend and begin at the Nachusa Grasslands Visitor Center, 2075 Lowden Road, Franklin Grove. Registration is required.
