Experience the beauty of the Mississippi River wetlands on a guided Golf Cart Tour at the Ingersoll Wetlands Learning Center. Offered from May through October, these relaxed, small-group tours provide a unique way to explore the landscape while learning about native birds, wildlife, and the surrounding ecosystem.
Led by knowledgeable guides, participants will ride through scenic areas of the wetlands with plenty of opportunities for birding and nature observation. It’s an ideal outing for those who want to experience the outdoors without extensive walking, while still enjoying up-close views of this diverse natural habitat.
Tours take place on the first and third Thursdays, as well as the third Saturday of each month, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Guests should arrive by 7:45 a.m. at the Learning Center (7071 Riverview Road, Thomson, IL) for check-in and departure.
This free program has limited seating, and pre-registration is required to reserve a spot. For the most up-to-date details and to sign up, please visit the official event link.
