The 62nd Annual Dixon Petunia Festival returns July 2–5, 2026, bringing four days of live entertainment, family fun, food, and hometown tradition to Dixon, Illinois. One of the largest festivals in Northwest Illinois, this beloved summer celebration fills the riverfront and downtown area with activity all weekend long.
Visitors can enjoy a full lineup of attractions including a carnival, parade, car show, food vendors, contests, family activities, and live music performances happening multiple times each day throughout the festival. From daytime events to evening concerts along the riverfront, there is always something happening during Petunia Festival weekend.
Festival favorites also include the Reagan Run 5K, bingo, shopping vendors, community events, and the iconic Petunia Festival Parade on Sunday afternoon.
