February 4 – March 21, 2026
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the America the Beautiful Art Exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the story, spirit, and future of the nation—from sea to shining sea. On view at Oregon Coliseum (CMAAA) in Oregon, Illinois, this juried exhibition brings together original works that interpret America’s landscapes, people, history, and shared ideals.
Through painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and more, artists explore what defines the American experience—past, present, and future. From iconic landmarks and natural wonders to moments of quiet symbolism and bold perspective, the exhibition encourages thoughtful reflection and meaningful conversation about where the country has been and where it’s headed.
An Awards Reception will take place on Friday, February 13, from 6–8 p.m., offering visitors a chance to enjoy the artwork, meet participating artists, and celebrate creativity inspired by a pivotal moment in American history. Awards will be selected by guest judge Stuart Roddy, a California-based artist known for his work across multiple mediums and his lifelong commitment to artistic growth.
This exhibition is open to the public and welcomes art lovers, history enthusiasts, and curious visitors alike to experience a creative tribute to America—its complexity, beauty, and evolving story.
