About the Blackhawk Waterways

Diane Bausman, Executive Director Diane Bausman, Executive Director

Blackhawk Waterways Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is a non-profit, official State of Illinois CVB, dedicated to promoting the Illinois counties of Carroll, Lee, Ogle and Whiteside as a tourism destination, and dedicated to helping you plan your personal trip here, or coordinate a group trip or event.

The CVB maintains its office and Visitors Center in the quaint Ogle County village of Polo (stop by anytime!) and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of representatives of the visitor industry, local governments and experienced businesspersons.

Thank you for visiting us here today. We hope you enjoy your online visit to our wonderful four-county region. Better yet, we hope that we’ve helped convince you to pay us a personal visit in the near future!
