Evan Hollewell started Hollow Crest Farm in 2013 to continue with his passion of Arabian and Half-Arabian Horses in Northwestern Illinois. He started riding and showing horses with his parents and moved through the 4-H program and into the Arabian circuit. During his junior high and high school years, Evan spent summers traveling the country in order to start expanding his knowledge. He continued to find opportunities to work for other trainers and after many years learning from these great mentors, Evan returned to Illinois to continue working close to his family. This brought around the creation of Hollow Crest Farm. Even though Evan's passion is Arabian and Half-Arabian horses, the barn is open to all breeds and disciplines. His goal is to bring new families into not only into the world of horses, but also the Arabian breed. Evan is dedicated to making his barn more than just a place, he strives to make everyone feel like it is a place for family and fun. He cares deeply not only for the horses, but also for each person that enters. Visit us to see some beautiful Arabian horses, take lessons, or see what showing is all about!
