Details

Mead’s Bike Shop is the largest premier retail bike store in the area. They have three full time and two part-time employees. Mead’s offers the full line of Trek Bikes which include Comfort, Hybrid, Mountain, Road, and BMX bikes. The shop also has children’s bikes and a trade up program where you can get up to 50% towards the purchase of your child’s next bike. They assist all levels of riders from recreational to the triathlete. A large selection of bike accessories is available. An authorized Oakley Dealer, they carry a full line of sunglasses and apparel. The trained mechanics are available to service and repair all brands of bikes.

Rentals too!

Mead’s offers a bike rental program and if you can’t get your bike to them for service or if you’re buying a new bike and can’t get it home, they offer pick up and delivery service. For more details or to schedule a service pick up, call 815-626-4601.

The local Tempo Velo Bike Club has over 100 members and various rides of all abilities. There are three weekly rides available and special event rides throughout the year. The bike club is a great way to connect with other riders.
