Nothing beats a trip to White Pines Forest to pick out your favorite tree to take home and decorate for your family Christmas.  This is one of many perfect winter getaways near Chicago to experience with the family or loved ones. The Tree Forest opens each year the day after Thanksgiving and is open daily.  Hours are 9 am to dusk. The Landmark Lodge Restaurant and Christmas Gift Shoppe are also open daily from 8am to 8pm Sunday – Thursday and 8am to 9pm Friday & Saturday.
Save 10% off your meal in the restaurant by showing your tree receipt and then get 10% off any purchases in the Gift Shoppe when you show your restaurant receipt.

Santa & Wagon Rides Schedule

On Weekends, Santa will be on hand so children can sit on his lap and whisper their wishes in his ear while mom and dad snap the perfect photos for your Christmas card. There are also horse drawn wagon rides through the forest. Everyone loves to hear the horses clip clopping along and the bells around their necks jingling away.
