History
Ned Dollinger and his father, John, established the Christmas Tree Farm in 1956, and we have been open every winter since. The original farm site is now part of the first nine holes of the Lake Carroll Golf Course. In 1971, Ned and his son John began planting trees at the Payne Road farm after the Lake Carroll development began. John & Janie Dollinger operate the tree farm with their son Mark, daughter-in-law Shanna, and grandsons Cooper & Maddex. Watch for Cooper and Maddex, fifth-generation tree farmers, passing out Magic Reindeer food.
Fir, Spruce, and Pine Trees are available in sizes from tabletop to cathedral ceiling, with shaking and netting available. All trees for sale in the field and lot are tagged with variety and price. A large selection of wreaths, swags, and other evergreen decorations in all sizes is custom-designed to complement your decorating décor.
Gift Shop
The Gift Shop strives to feature locally made gifts, crafts, and jewelry, with a corner especially for Vintage Christmas items.
We’re easy to find, go 5 miles north of Lanark on Rt. 73, then 1 mile West on Payne Road. Like us on Facebook for special hours, events, and promotions.
