Details

The first City Park in Rock Falls, Veterans Memorial Park (formerly known as Triangle Park) was established to memorialize, commemorate and properly recognize our veterans — past, present and future — for their contributions to the protection of our nation and its citizens, as well as the preservation of freedom throughout the world.

It was created so veterans, civic organizations and our schools could hold events and where individuals may come, reflect and celebrate the community spirit of Rock Fall and show appreciation for all Veterans who have given so much for our town and our country.

The beautifully shaded park contains dedicated monuments to all of the Veterans of Rock Falls who fought to keep our country free. It covers approx. 1 acre and has a fully lit band shell.  Please contact the Rock Falls Tourism office if your group wishes to utilize Veterans Memorial Park.
