Move over Madison County! Whiteside County now has a covered bridge of its own. Located just north of Morrison, turn west off Rt 78 on Damen Rd. The bridge is part of a new road to Morrison-Rockwood State Park. Only its size gives it away that the bridge is, in fact, new construction. At 148 feet, the two-span covered bridge is much larger than those you will find elsewhere.
