Kennay Farms Distilling is a family farming operation specializing in growing their own grains to create handcrafted spirits and beer with a uniquely sustainable approach. They are located in the heart of Rochelle on the Lincoln Highway in the completely rebuilt historic Hub Theatre building. They offer pre-arranged tours and tastings and the venue includes a beautiful area for meetings and another area where visitors can enjoy time with friends and family. Kennay Farms is the largest Distillery in the state of Illinois.

The Kennay’s saw the potential in the 1930s Hub Theatre building that had been closed since 2011. It was the perfect location to not only bring their dream to life but also to revive and repurpose this treasured historic Rochelle landmark.

ILLINOIS MADE
In 2020 the Illinois Office of Tourism recognized Kennay Farms Distilling as one of 31 small businesses, or ‘makers,’ in the Illinois Made program. Launched 2016, the program currently features over 200 makers and this designation spotlights the people, products and experiences authentic to Illinois and inspires residents and visitors to explore these iconic destinations when traveling the state, or in their own backyard.
