White Pines Resort is home to one of northern Illinois' landmark restaurants. The home-style cuisine blends perfectly with the log cabin decor. Generous portions of mostly homemade dishes fill the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, six days a week. Each Sunday the fabulous Cornhusker's Buffet, with its spread of hearty home cooking and mouth watering desserts, is served from 8am – 2pm.
Enjoy White Pines' famous Paul Bunyan Breakfast served family style: large platters filled with eggs, buttermilk or blueberry pancakes, American fries, toast, sausage, and bacon. Still hungry? Just ask for more and we'll keep it coming!
Lunches range from homemade soups and hearty sandwiches served on home-baked breads, to more substantial entrees like our famous chicken Pot Pie. The Sweet Tooth Sampler is always a favorite for guests of all ages!
Our menu expands at dinner offering steaks, lake fish and seafood. Save room as you’ll find it hard to turn down dessert. The White Pines chef takes great pride in his creations, especially his Pine Creek Peach Cobbler, and our signature Red Raspberry Pie.
