Have you visited Carroll County’s grandest mansion yet? Havencrest Castle is a unique home filled with thousands of objects, antiques, and art to explore. Open for tours every Saturday and Sunday in October and May for self-guided tours or exclusive VIP tours conducted by owner/artist Alan St. George. Seasonal hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last tour starting at 4 p.m.
A combination of fantasy and reality, the St. Georges had been a couple deeply in love with each other since their early teens. Over their 31 years together, Alan and Adrianne St. George expanded the original 22 rooms to 63. It’s a 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐄.
Alan only opens the gates to his home twice a year to the public (𝒚𝒆𝒔, 𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆). He sits in the ballroom to greet his guests and thank them for visiting his home. Take the time to talk to him; he’ll leave you with wonderful stories of fantasy, art, and true love.
