Where the Arts are for Everyone.
The Woodlawn Arts Academy offers a wide variety of quality arts programming including visual arts, music, literary arts, performing arts and yoga. The converted elementery school was completely renovated and opened in 2006. Designed to be friendly to both it’s students and the environment, the facility includes a geothermal heating and cooling system that is flexible and energy efficient along with lighting systems and low maintenance wall and floor finishes that give the feeling of an art gallery or studio environment.
The 150-seat J. Mark Beaty Performance Center is a exceptional venue for plays, dinner theatre, art exhibits, banquets and conferences.
Next door sits a newly restored victorian era house that is used for art retreat housing and resident artists.
