Model Railroad Open House | Savanna & Chadwick

Model Railroad fans alert!

Nov. 19-20 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day
Come out and visit the working HO-scale model railroad. It tells the story of the Milwaukee Road and CBQ in and around Savanna, IL, in the 1950s through the model RR layout. In addition, the North West Illinois Model Railroad Club will be open and running their layouts on both floors of their facility in Chadwick. 

New features

After a 2-year hiatus due to Covid, the open house is back with a lot of changes and improvements. The entire layout is now signal controlled and operating!

Donations would be appreciated to help continue to improve and update the layout as they continue to tell the story of railroading in our region!
