The Pines Playhouse is proud to announce the 32nd annual production of “Scrooge the Comedy."

Don’t miss this wacky, zany, audience participation comedy starring the curmudgeonly Ebenezer Scrooge & his side-kick Narrator. The storyline is based on a loosely adapted version of Charles Dickens's timeless classic, “A Christmas Carole.”

The other infamous characters of this well-known tale are found in willing audience members.  Each performance is different since you never know who will end up on stage. Many of our guests consider it a Christmas tradition and return year after year. The Pines has taken this well-known drama and turned it into a side-splitting comedy for all ages including senior bus groups, families, and company Christmas parties.

Adult version on Dec. 17 & 18

The performances are family-friendly, with the exception of Dec 17 & 18 which are for adults only and offer up a little looser style those evenings!!! Book your tickets soon as all shows sell out quickly.   It is a must-see for your holiday entertainment plans.

Since 1989, the Pines Dinner Theatre has entertained audiences with delightful singers, actors, and comedians performing plays & tribute shows. These mid-week matinee performances feature talent that tours Branson and Las Vegas as well as right here at the intimate 144-seat playhouse, nestled in White Pines Forest State Park. The open-beamed historic lodge theatre offers a selection of Silver, Gold, or Platinum seating as you enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal followed by highly entertaining and professional shows. This hilarious audience participation, comedy has been running at the playhouse for 32 years and has entertained thousands. The theatre and “Scrooge the Comedy” were featured in Midwest Living Magazine which has drawn guests from all around the country.

All performances are midweek matinees except for Scrooge the Comedy, which offers nights and weekends.
