Built in 1858 during the Italian Renaissance period, the Dillon Home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is available for special events, weddings and receptions. Unlike any other venue in our region, The Dillon Home’s manicured, spacious grounds, fountain, and towering two-story enclosed porch will be the perfect setting for your wedding. The fee for holding a rehearsal and wedding ceremony at The Dillon Home is $1,000. That includes an evening rehearsal time and we close the museum for you to enjoy an entire day for the wedding ceremony. We transform our North Parlor into a dressing area for the bridal party, and allow photographs to be taken in the Formal Parlor and on the spiral staircase inside the home. A non-refundable deposit of $250 dollars is due at booking with the remaining balance due 3 weeks before the wedding day. We do not host receptions on the grounds, but we suggest using Emerald Hill. They set up a beautiful tent and offer many options. The Dillon Home is also available for luncheons and banquet parties of up to 25 guests. Table service, tableware and beverages are included, along with a guided tour of the home. All you have to bring is the food, and caterers are welcome to use the kitchen. The fee for renting the home for a luncheon is $150 for the first hour, and $75 for each additional hour. A non-refundable deposit of $75 is due at booking; the remaining balance is due 3 weeks before the event.
