Stay where humanity cohabitates with nature

Formerly known as the Blue Bedroom Inn, Ecology Inn is located in the heart of downtown Savanna on the Mississippi River. Savanna, Illinois is the southernmost end of The Driftless Area which spans all the way up to Minnesota along the Mississippi River. A topography untouched during the flattening of the glacial period, leaving our natural landscape of rolling hills and bluffs along the Mississippi River. Get out in nature to renew your mind or balance your soul with food, shopping and a fun nightlife. Find your happy & Stay Inn Nature at Ecology.

Ecology Inn has 4 private rooms with shared living spaces — Living Room, Dining Room, Full Kitchen and 2 decks overlooking the Mississippi River. 3 rooms in the front (Radke, Pierce and Dupuis) share a bathroom and is on the Main Street side. The Bowen Room has its own private bath with a river view. Each room has its own TV and seating area if you prefer to be private. At Ecology, we encourage a sense of community between our guests. Cook, drink and break bread together. Make new memories and make new friends.  Breaking down walls makes for a better world.

Savanna is centrally located to many adventures in the area. There's something for everyone. Take in nature with hiking, biking, kayaking. Take beautiful drives to explore other towns or enjoy beautiful vistas on the wine trail.  Our downtown offers shopping, dining and a fun nightlife catching a band at a local venue and meeting friendly locals.
