The 26th Annual Reagan 5K Run/Walk is held each year in conjunction with the Petunia Festival in Dixon, IL. The race has a unique course that begins at the Reagan Home, runs through the downtown, crosses the Rock River twice and even has a wooded area. There is bib tag timing, water stations, a medical team on hand, start mats and great post-race refreshments. Awards are given at finish. Walkers are welcome!

This year the race will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Race day registration is from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at Haymarket Square, 255 Highland Avenue, and the race/walk starts at 8 a.m. at the Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home, 810 S. Hennepin Avenue, Dixon, IL. There is a free Kids Fun Run prior to the race at 7:30 a.m. Race forms will be available at www.reaganrun.com. Participants can also go to runsignup.com.
