Franklin Creek Grist Mill invites the public to celebrate the longest day of the year with a festive Summer Solstice Gathering on Saturday, June 21, 5-9 p.m. The evening will feature live music on the Mill’s porch, various lawn games, and a silent auction benefiting the Mill’s purchase of new windows. Attendees can enjoy delicious offerings from Lil Smoked BBQ, available for purchase throughout the event.

Time to pull your Celtic outfit out of the closet!

As the sun sets, a special serenade by a live violinist, Lilly Willet, will provide a memorable soundtrack to the golden hour. Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the solstice by wearing Celtic-inspired attire, and a prize will be awarded for the best outfit.

This is a BYOB event; guests are asked to bring outdoor lawn chairs for comfortable seating. All are welcome to enjoy an evening of music, community, and celebration in a beautiful natural setting.
