A much-anticipated event

The spring and fall Sip & Shop events have been a hit in downtown Sterling since its beginning in 2017. Whether it’s a Girl’s Night Out or Date Night Fun, there is something for all on this adventure through downtown. All proceeds from these events benefit Sterling’s downtown beautification efforts through flowers, holiday décor, or other projects.

When: Thursday, March 28, in downtown Sterling

How it works:
5–6 p.m., check-in at the Sterling Main Street office in the Sanborn Building, 15 East 3rd Street, Sterling, IL, where you’ll pick up your sampling glass, tasting guide, and other goodies. Tickets are limited, so be sure to get them in advance, but you will still need to check in before starting your walk.

5-8 p.m., wander the shops of downtown Sterling, shopping and sampling along the way. Be sure to get your tasting card punched at each tasting site.

After 7:45 p.m., wrap up the evening at a location to be determined for appetizers and prizes! Turn in your punch card to be eligible for door prizes. You must be present to win.
