Bring the kids for an afternoon of Halloween fun

The annual Halloween on the Prairie event is on Sunday, October 22, from 12-4 p.m. This family-friendly event is co-sponsored by the Byron Park District and the Byron Forest Preserve. You don’t have to register for this event.

The fun stuff

Some of the offerings featured include

• games
• hayrides
• crafts
• Raptor Rehab owl and hawk demonstrations
• bounce house

AND

• A costume parade at 1 P.M.!  BE sure to dress up.

No one is going hungry

The forest preserve offers a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, and bottled water.
