Flock to the Rock ’24

Mark your calendars for the 4th Annual Flock to the Rock on February 10. Meet at the Lower Dam (300 West 1st Street, Rock Falls) before 10 a.m. to witness eagles soaring above the Rock River. Bring your cameras and binoculars for the perfect viewing experience.
More events continue at the Rock Falls Community Center Building (601 W. 10th Street) at 10 a.m., where two speakers await. Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab & Education presents live birds of prey and educational displays. Rudy Vallejo, a member of the Kickapoo and Potawatomi Tribes, shares insights into the significance of the bald eagle in Native American culture and leads an audience-participatory Eagle Dance.
New this year, witness carver Robert Storm transform blocks of ice into stunning sculptures live on the Community Center lawn. Educational vendors, including the Illinois Conservation Police Wildlife Trailer, will be present from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering enriching experiences for all ages.
Plate & Toast will satisfy appetites with fresh bagels, coffee, and hot chocolate available for purchase.
Flock to the Rock is a free event open to everyone.
