The Next Picture Show invites the public to celebrate the start of summer with its “Bubbles & Cake Day” fundraising event on Saturday, June 21, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the gallery at 113 W. First St. in downtown Dixon.
A fun fundraiser
Admission is $15 per person, with tickets available online, in person at the gallery, through any board member, or at the door on the day of the event.
Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy an afternoon of lighthearted summer fun, sweet treats, and art activities. Attendees can sip on their choice of “bubbles” — including prosecco, sparkling water, or soda — while indulging in a signature Bubbles & Cake Day cupcake.
The event will also feature an old-fashioned cake walk and live dessert auctions where guests can bid on their favorite confections. For a hands-on creative experience, attendees can make their own bubble print artwork. Or, play a game or two of bingo for cash prizes!
All proceeds from the event support The Next Picture Show’s programs and exhibitions.
