Experience the tradition of the fall harvest at the Bos Brothers Fall Working Farm Show. This event showcases a bustling harvest, with corn and soybeans being gathered right before your eyes. Delve into a world of agricultural prowess with demonstrations that span from plowing stalks and stubble to milling cornmeal and baking fresh cornbread using corn from the very fields you will be standing in.
The farm is a hub of activity for all ages, making it a perfect family outing. Engaging activities for children and a variety of culinary delights are available. Modern amenities ensure comfort throughout your visit.
Crafts & skills demonstrations
Not just about farming, the show features a myriad of traditional crafts and skills demonstrations. Watch as hammers crush rocks, blacksmiths forge iron, and saws expertly cut wood. Witness artisans weaving rugs, spinning yarn, and throwing pottery, along with quilt-making sessions that tell stories through the fabric. The learning continues with educational showcases on honeybees and maple syrup production.
Music, too
Set to the lively tunes of Rusty Strings, the event promises musical entertainment on Friday and Saturday, with performances at 10 AM and 1 PM. A serene church service in the barn at 9:30 AM on Sunday invites everyone to reflect amidst the pastoral settings.
Admission and hours
Admission and parking are free, and show hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM on Friday and Saturday and until 3 PM on Sunday.
