The February 22, 2017, Wild Winter Wednesdays at the Windmill Cultural Center in Fulton will teach guests about birds of prey. The public is invited to gather at 9:00 a.m. for coffee, tea, and refreshments. The program begins at 9:15. The building is accessible to people with disabilities and the program is funded through a grant from the Fulton Association for Community Enrichment (FACE).

Jill Schmidt will present "Birds of Prey." Iowa native Jill Schmidt is a Naturalist with Clinton County Conservation. Previously living in northern Wisconsin, Jill gained experience working with captive birds of prey while working at Trees For Tomorrow. She has experience with training as well as public use for education and developed much respect and love for these birds. She moved back to Iowa in 2012 and now lives in Lowden with her husband and two young children. She spends her free time exploring the natural world with her family.

A new feature each week will be the addition of bread for sale by Krumpets Bakery. Guests will be able to purchase bread made with de Immigrant flour at the Windmill Cultural Center.
