Families welcome

The Loveland Community House & Museum hosts the 2020 Civil War Ball put on by Battery G, 2nd IL Artillery Civil War Reenactors. Doors open on Sat., Jan. 18, at 6:30 p.m. The event runs from 7-10 p.m. Families with children are welcome. Introduce your children to dancing and society within a fun, historical context.

Live music

Live music is provided by the Century Air Minstrels along with dance calling and instruction. This dance is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.


Civil War attire is encouraged, but not necessary. Modern semi-formal attire or attire from other historical eras is also gladly welcomed. There will be a ladies powder room made available.
