Beautiful daylilies take center stage

CHANA, IL: Come out and enjoy Hidden Timber Gardens’ 6th Daylily Bloomfest to celebrate the work of award-winning daylily hybridizer Bob Ellison and showcase all the gorgeous daylilies in bloom! The event takes place on July 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on July 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Visitors can tour the Bob Ellison Memorial Garden and purchase hand-dug daylilies from the garden. Potted daylilies will also be for sale. Many lilies, which were Ellison’s creations, are only available at Hidden Timber Gardens. A wide variety of lilies is available for collectors and hobby gardeners.

Have your questions answered

The Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions, and vendors will have local products and food for sale.

Door prizes, raffle items, and store-wide discounts will be given away all weekend. Come out, enjoy walking through the lovely display gardens, and get ideas for your home landscape.
