Bring the whole family
The Byron Forest Preserve hosts its Annual Halloween on the Prairie event on Sunday, October 23, from Noon-4 pm. This family-friendly event is co-sponsored by the Byron Park District.
All kinds of activities including costume parade
Activities include hayrides, crafts, Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab owl and hawk demonstrations, a bounce house, and more. There will be a costume parade at 1 pm, so be sure to dress up!
The Byron Park District also offers paid ticketed games and apple sling shots.
Food, too (free)
The forest preserve will also offer hot dogs, chips, and bottled water free lunch.
