Seasonal Sights and Sounds of Sterling Downtown Christmas Walk

5 pm - 9 pm
Dec 3rd the Seasonal Sights and Sounds of Christmas celebration will take place in downtown Sterling with activities beginning at 5 pm.
The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Sterling Main Street are excited to share the events that will include the Tree Lighting at Library Plaza at 5:30 PM featuring live entertaining and the arrival of Santa & Mrs. Claus, along with the traditional Sterling Theater tower lighting.
SANTA & MRS CLAUS
Santa and Mrs. Claus will join the Santa’s Workshop activities to visit with children immediately following the tree lighting until 7:30pm. Santa's Workshop activities for the kids will be held on 4th Street between 1st Avenue & Locust.
HORSE & CARRIAGE RIDES
Horse & Carriage rides by Carriage Springs Farms will be offered around the downtown and 3D Sound Company will be providing holiday music.
FIREWORKS!
The evening will be capped off with a Fireworks display over the riverfront at 8:00 PM.
Downtown businesses will have extended hours for the evening, and offer specials throughout the night.
