Focusing on Portraits

The latest art exhibition at The Next Picture Show fine arts center, 113 West First Street, in Dixon, IL, runs from June 5 through July 17.

89 pieces of original art

This exhibit focuses on the subjects of portraits and will feature sculpture, painting, photograph, or any other representation of a person or animal, in which the face is the main theme. This is an all-media exhibition of both 2-D and 3-D original work created and signed by the artist. The exhibit features 89 individual works of art using a wide variety of media including acrylic, alcohol ink, charcoal, clay, digital photography, film photography, metal, mixed media, oil, pastel, pencil, and watercolor.

The art exhibit is sponsored by Ehrmann Gehlbach Badger Lee & Considine, LLC, 215 E 1st St #100, Dixon, IL 61021. 


Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment.
