Enjoy an 1858 base ball game complete with 1858 rules and uniforms!

Two vintage *base ball clubs, the Oregon Ganymedes of Oregon, Illinois, and the DuPage Plowboys of DuPage, Illinois, square off to play an 1850s ′s rules base ball game. *Baseball was two separate words back then.

They play on the grounds of the John Deere Historic Site in Grand Detour, Illinois, on June 14, from 1-3 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to sit in the shade while watching the game. Popcorn and hot dogs make the day complete.
