Rochelle Hay Day

Hay Day in downtown Rochelle takes place on Saturday, October 12. This family-friendly fall festival runs from 11 am to 5 pm with over fifty hay bales being decorated around town in preparation for this annual event.

Something new

New for 2019 is a Children’s Costume Parade that will line up at City Hall and step off at 1 pm. All ages are invited to join. Bikes, strollers, or wagons are welcome. The Rochelle Police & Fire Departments will lead and close the parade.

Kids can come in costume

The festival features a petting zoo, giant inflatables, crafts, face painting, s’mores, and more. Children are welcome to come in costume and may even find a treat! City Hall hosts a Pumpkin Decorating Contest for school ages through adult. The Rochelle Fire Department will host an open house during the event where all are invited to tour the Fire Department.

There will be plenty of good food available with Oasis Mexican Food, Sunshine Bakery, El Senor de Los Tacos, and more!

Magician Brian Holt takes the stage at 11 am for our Magic Show followed by musical entertainment by bluegrass band The Templetons – a family of ten playing old-time favorites. Check out the website for all the details.
