3 Weekends | Mar. 2-17
The Vincent Carney Community Theatre presents the Tony award-winning musical Avenue Q the first 3 weekends in March at the James Paddock Hall located within the Hickory Grove Community Center in Rochelle.
Avenue Q is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the story of a recent college graduate named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. There, he meets Kate (the girl next door), Rod (the Republican), Trekkie (the internet sexpert), Lucy The Slut and other colorful types who help Princeton finally discover his true purpose in life! Join us, where the internet is for porn and everyone’s a little bit racist, as VCCT brings this Tony Award-winning production to life.
NOTE - Don't let the puppets fool you! Avenue Q is an ADULT musical comedy and contains strong language, sexual situations, and adult themes. No one under the age of 18 will be admitted unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
All performances are held at the James N. Paddock Memorial Hall located within the Hickory Grove Center, 1133 N 7th Street, Rochelle.
